A weekend with Box Beckham Creative

I spent an amazing weekend in Sapulpa, Oklahoma with two of the best senior photographers in the country, Gary Box and David Beckham! So much knowledge was shared, fun was had and lots of photos were taken. It truly was an honor to learn from these two award winning photographers.

We worked in Gary's studio http://www.boxportraits.com and on location in the Tulsa area. The senior models were amazing, fun and, I think, enjoyed all of the attention! What senior girl wouldn't?

Sydney was the first up incoming senior that I got to work with. She totally could rock the gold back ground and the solid white! Both are stunning and each one gives the viewer a different story.

Next up was Jayden. She was able to pull off both the soft and sweet poses in the natural window light and the edgy, dark, smokey photos on the attic stairs.

Day 2 was just as amazing as day one. Outside is where we headed, to Gary's outdoor set location. Talk about fun! He had so many sets set up, a true photographers playground! Ariah was one of our seniors for the day here. Her smile makes your heart melt, she is the sweetest!

The evening of day 2 took us on location to a stream with a beautiful waterfall! WOW!! As the sun was setting I were able to capture these gorgeous images with the aid of off camera flash. The models were gorgeous, the water was refreshing and the bugs weren't too bad!

Thank you to Gary for hosting and teaching, David for teaching and sharing your posing knowledge and to the seniors for being great models. It was a great weekend. Taking advantage of these learning opportunities is so very important to me. I want to bring the best to my clients and there's no better way to do that then by learning from the best and keeping up to date with the latest trends and styles.

Who knows where my next adventure will be!
